If you’re looking for a car with seats you won’t hate, which car should you buy? According to J.D. Power, it isn’t a Mercedes or even a BMW. It’s an Audi. Specifically, an Audi A3.
J.D. Power has released the results of its 2017 Seat Quality and Satisfaction Study, and after surveying more than 77,000 people who either bought or leased a 2017 model-year vehicle, it got the fewest complaints about the Audi A3. In fact, it got exactly zero. No one surveyed had a single complaint about the entry-level Audi’s seats.

The BMW X4 placed third, with the Acura RDX, Lexus RC, and Kia Cadenza not far behind. If you’re shopping for something a little more affordable, the Ford Escape and Chevrolet Cruze performed the best out of all the mass market brands (unless you want to count the near-luxury Cadenza), respectively receiving only 3.1 and 3.3 complaints per 100 vehicles.

Individuals may still find that highly rated seats don’t fit their bodies well or meet their specific needs. Despite that limitation, it’s still notable that the A3’s seats got zero complaints. You’d think there would be at least one complaint from someone about something. But it didn’t.
For that, Audi and Magna, the company that supplied the seat, deserve some serious praise.
