Musician Gary Clark Jr. recently purchased a 50-acre horse ranch in Kyle, TX, which was on the market last year for $1.6 million. The sale was finalized in late October for an undisclosed amount. The property is anchored by a two-story, 5,218-square-foot home with four bedrooms, three bathrooms, and three half-baths.

Double gates on the property open to a circular driveway, which is flanked by horse pastures. The Texas star graces the gateway and the entryway’s doors and transom.

The home’s lower level is tiled, with custom woodwork and exposed wood beams throughout. The living room features a double-sided stone fireplace, picture windows, and glass doors to the backyard and pool. The kitchen has an eat-in breakfast bar, custom wood cabinets, granite countertops, and a granite backsplash.

The lower level also has a formal dining room and study, and the master bedroom has a wood-burning stove. Outside, there’s a 50-foot pool with slide, diving board, and cabana.

Among the property’s coolest features is the 14-stall horse barn, which comes with a one-bedroom, one-bath apartment. Fenced paddocks, a lighted horse ring, and a pond complete the equestrian’s ideal package.

Clark, 32 and a native of nearby Austin, plays a mix of blues, rock, R&B, and soul. His latest album, “The Story of Sonny Boy Slim,” peaked at No. 8 on the Billboard 200. In 2014, he won a Grammy for Best Traditional R&B Performance for his song, “Please Come Home.”

In April 2016, the musician married his longtime girlfriend, Australian supermodel Nicole Trunfio. The couple have a son named Zion.
