Houston’s housing market saw its largest decrease in home sales so far this year last month, with an 8.8 percent drop for single-family homes and an 8.6 percent decrease for all property types compared to July 2015. Prior to July, the Houston Association of Realtors reported a 2 percent year-over-year decrease for single family home sales in both January and March, relatively flat sales in April and June, and increases in February and May.
