A NASCAR Star Raced Away With This Week’s Most Popular Home Title

Most Popular homes November 18

realtor.com

This week, the lakefront home of NASCAR legend Mark Martin took the checkered flag in the race for clicks. His luxurious Carolina home lapped the competition and racked up twice as many views as the second-place finisher in our weekly look at the most popular homes on realtor.com®.

While Martin never took home the hardware awarded to the champ of the most popular auto racing circuit in America, his home is a true winner. Located on Lake Norman in North Carolina, the contemporary four-bedroom retreat has nearly 200 feet of private shoreline. If the passion of NASCAR fans is any indication, the home will have no trouble attracting interest and racing away with a buyer.

Outside of the celeb tie-in in the top spot, we saw a welcome change. The rest of this week’s homes didn’t have pre-established backstories to propel their popularity. The result? We were introduced to a diverse blend of cool pads thanks to your clicks.

The highlights include a former foreclosure in Massachusetts that was the site of eviction protests, a brand-new build in New Orleans that was delayed due to the horrific floods in Louisiana this summer, and a quick (six-month!) flip in Connecticut.

For the full list of the most popular places in the country, rev up your motor and scroll down.
